High levels of demand continue

“We saw an increase in the level of single professional tenants and couples move out of house shares over the summer,” says Carmel Russo, Manager at Fletchers Brook Green. “Upsizing is a much more feasible option for tenants than it was this time last year and is an attractive option for many. We are renting a range of properties, from studios to six-bedroom houses.”

“We have seen West London continue to bring in international tenants who are relocating with work and August and September were hugely hugely popular for tenants moving in,” continues Erica Whitehead of Fletchers Chiswick. “Demand now seems to outstrip the supply of properties readily available to move into and we can already see signs of this busy lettings market continuing into the autumn.”

“The Chiswick sales market is busy with many families relocating to west London looking for large houses within the area,” states Stuart Mun-Gavin, Sales Manager. “It’s not just individual buyers who are out in force - investors from across the globe are looking to increase their portfolios and Chiswick is high on their list.”
