Spring is finally in the air and with the Easter break having come and gone early and the new fiscal year upon us, it’s back to business for many of the corporate companies,” says Carmel Russo, Manager at Fletchers Brook Green. “There are plenty of corporate tenants coming to the market who are relocating due to work, and Brook Green has always proven popular with professionals who are attracted by all the local amenities and excellent transport links here.” The good news for tenants is that there is a wide choice of quality lettings properties available at the moment, particularly two bedroom flats, meaning that record numbers of tenants are registering with us. “This has created a very competitive environment,” continues Carmel, “meaning, more so than ever, it is important for tenants and landlords alike to work with the right agent.”

In terms of sales, Fletchers expect the next few months to be very busy indeed across all price ranges, with families wanting to settle in to their new homes over the summer in time for the new school year. “There is high demand for properties between £1,000,000 and £2,500,000 as upsizers look for their long-term family homes,” says Sales Director Anne-Marie Desborough, “which is great news for downsizers.”

“The Chiswick market is flourishing at the moment with many families relocating to west London looking for large houses "within the area,” agrees Fletchers Chiswick Manager Erica Whitehead. “The market remains busy with applicants, both buyers and tenants, looking for a variety of properties, whether it be on the quieter side of Chiswick near the River or closer to the underground stations and the hustle and bustle of the High Road.”
