‘The lettings team have been incredibly busy, similarly to sales, properties are receiving multiple offers and we are seeing a strong demand for properties in the W4 area,’ says Erica Whitehead at Fletchers. ‘There are a higher number of tenants looking to rent as well as relocation agents searching this year compared to the same time last year. Many blue chip companies are placing their employees in Chiswick and the surrounding areas because of the excellent transport links. We are finding properties that are presented well are achieving impressive prices so we would recommend landlords maintain and invest in their portfolios to attract the best tenants who are willing to pay a premium for a great property. Tenants need to be decisive and be prepared to move quickly as there are likely to be multiple offers on the property they like. We are fully expecting this active lettings marketing to continue throughout 2022 with both demand and prices remaining high.’
